I am a Theatre Studies and Philosophy Studies scholar, as well as a theatre director, dramaturge, and artistic advisor to theatre, dance, and performance art works.

I hold a Master's degree in philosophy and a Master of Fine Art's degree in theatre directing, both with outstanding honors (summa cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University. In 2018 I received my Doctor's Degree, from Tel-Aviv University, for a dissertation titled Philosophy at Home: Space and Performance in Plato's 'Domestic Dialogues'. This research - an analysis of Socrates' philosophical performance as stage in a number of Platonic dialogues the plots of which take place in private houses in Athens and its surroundings – I have integrated my research of theatre and performance with my research of philosophy, as well as incorporated my theoretical research with my practical creative work in the theatre.

In the past I worked as lecturer and teacher at – to name a few - the Department of Theatre Studies in The University of Haifa, The School of Visual Theatre in Jerusalem, and the Department of Philosophy in Tel-Aviv University. Between 2014 to 2016, I was as a visiting scholar at the Theatre-, Film- and Media Studies Institute, Goethe Universität, Frankfurt am Main (Germany). Currently, I teach at the Department of Theater Studies in the Hebrew University, the Department of Theatre Arts in Tel-Aviv University, and The Goodman Acting School of the Negev in Be'er Sheva. In addition, I hold public lectures on philosophy and theatre.

My stage works focus on visual-based adaptations of canonical Western drama. My recent work, I wish You Were a Woman, after Federico García Lorca's Blood Wedding, premiered in March 2019 at Tmuna Theatre, Tel-Aviv.
