Head of the therapeutic theatre track at the Theatre Studies Department of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and Head of the MA Program in Drama Therapy at Tel-Hai Academic College in Upper Galilee, Mrs. Pendzik also teaches at the Training Program of the Drama Therapy Institute in Switzerland, as well as in other institutions of Higher Education worldwide. Susana is a certified supervisor by ICET (Association Creative Arts Therapists in Israel), a registered member of the North American Drama Therapy Association (NADTA), the British Association for Drama Therapists (BADTh), as well as honorary and founding member of the Drama Therapy Association in Switzerland, and representative of Israel at the European Federation of Dramatherapy.
Susana has a private practice with individuals and groups, supervises professionals, and runs workshops worldwide. She has published numerous articles in the field, including a book on using action techniques with battered women. She co-edited a volume on Assessment in Drama Therapy (2012) in collaboration with Prof. David R. Johnson and Prof. Stephen Snow, and was the first editor of the recently published book:
